I like that quote. My favorite quote is "I have no shoes and I complain until I saw a man with no foot". This quote has been the source of my courage and patience for the last ten years.

My favourite sayings are ‘take what you want but pay for it’ and ‘old sins have long shadows’…these are like the mantras of my life.
‘move on’ too is a very good motto…we must learn to forgive, forget and move on otherwise life will pass us by and we will be the ultimate losers.

I like the second one most - whatever we have done in past will definitely have great or worst effect in our life.

Hi friend
I used to collect quotes that I feel would influence me and have a positive impact in my life. These quotes are like guides for us in our journey in this life. They are simple words with deep meaning. Many of whom came from great men who had great experiences in life.
One of the quotes I like is
"Every great journey begins with a small step."
For me, the meaning of this words is that every great undertaking is started not with a big bang but with constant and continuous progress. Looking at the great goal ahead. Meeting trials along the way but striving to continue the journey. Trials and errors are part of it but they would be included in the learning process.
Every man will have his/her own path to take and the most important thing is that one should finis the journey no matter what it takes and no matter what hindrances be encountered.
Regards

My Best is "Never increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of words required to explain anything" by William of Ockham (1285-1349).....for me it means going as you wish every is easy just understand the basic or little meaning things have.

there is one quote i live by, and think is completely empowering. "Tough times dont last. Tough people do." its simple, but says so much. no matter how hard things can get, if your tough you can make it through anything that is thrown your way. I dont now where i heard it from or who said it, but is my favorite. Another good one is "Respect Everyone. Fear No one"

"When the Power of Love Overcomes the Love of Power the World Will Know Peace." It's a quote by Jimi Hendrix. I actually find these few words very well said, they describe the situation that has been around the world for a long time already. All these wars break out because of the will of some people to rule the world. Perhaps we will see a day, when we will be living in peace and no-one would be struggling for ruling others.

Hello Ajay...,
There are a number of qoutes that help me in this journey called life. But there are a few that I particularly like as a guide to every step that I take. "What goes around comes around." "You reap what you sow." "For every action, there is always an opposite and equal reaction." The Golden Rule is something that I must basically live by.
Life is what we make it and we are the navigators of our own journey. If we choose to do good, then, good will come to us. If we choose to make others happy, we'll be happy too. But, sadly, no one is perfect. We all make mistakes and this is the reason that life is not a "bed of roses." Yet, we must remember that neither is life a series of prickly thorns.
Misfortunes come our way, but let's not dwell on these. Life goes on and worry does not solve a problem, it can only "give a small problem a bigger shadow." So, you're absolutely right, let's "move on!"
