how many people to get married just because pregnant

Hi Mylotings,I got a surprised news that my friend will get married due to his gf got pregnant.that is definitely not his plan,but he has to do so to avoid hurting mother and baby,he was just 23 years old and just got his first job in a big city he lived after gratuated,I can imagine that their life will be tough in the future ,for their salary only can rent a tiny house let alone to bring up a baby?! he is so worry about that and feels frustration now,the only solution is to depend on their parents...
how about your opinion on this ?how can I console my friend and give him some advises?

I got pregnant at an early age, but didn't got married right away we've waited until we are ready. We got married when our son was 3yrs old.And for your friend, based from my experience, the first 3 years was really a struggle, lots of trials and worries but as long as he and his gf stay strong they can get through it.

Thanks to share your experience Alen,that have been a great help,but people in my country can't accept having child before get married,that will make a deep hurt to his gf.thanks all the same for your posting!

People should not get married only because girls are pregnant,but the lovers should absolutely take the responsibility. I think both of them should take marriage seriously. If they really think they are not fit to get married, then they have to abolish the child though this is harsh. Yet for the long run, this may avoid a break-up of the marriage. If both of them love each other, then get married because of the pregnancy is quite ok.

Hi Magic,you are right,my friend court the girl less than one year,that's also a problem for them ,we all don't know does their love can pass the test of time,but he must take his responsibility and make decision right now, maybe to abolish the child is a better solution....I think he loves his gf caurse he doesn't want to see her hurted,anyway that's the first time she pregnant...thanks for your advise,I will let him consider about it

Back then years back where it was a hit here in the country wherein people would get married because they got pregnant. It was a norm before but now it is not, thank God. Parents before had the mentality (on which I think there are still some) who still forces their kids to get married because the girl is pregnant. This shouldn't be since it is not the best solution for it.

well, they should marry but do their best to live in a comfortable life. Its his fault though.. their fault. they should had used contraceptions to avoid unplanned pregnancy. well, its too late for that. All i can say is goodluck to them! they can overcome that problem just have trust to Him.
