TeamViewer is a great software which connects two computers. When you are in trouble you can easily let other people to operate your computer or you can help others when your friends need help from you. How to connect:
1] Install this software
2] If you want to help (They must this have software too) your friend then just ask them to run this software and get the ID and password
3] Put that ID and Password into the Team Viewer Software then click on "Connect"
4] Now give your ID and password to them and tell them to put there
5] Enjoy helping them !!

Teamviewer is really great remote access software out there. I use it a lot when supporting with my clients and it is less hassle to install or you don't need to install it to your client you just let them run the software and that's it you are able to remotely access the remote pc of course you need the userid and password. Even if you have firewall installed or your office has firewall server installed it doesn't matter as long as you can connect to the internet you can be reach.

This had helped me a lot when I was a Tech Support Engineer in one of the IT Company based in US. Troubleshooting where made easy and client walk-through have been very effective. This is a great software I would highly recommend even to just simple things that needs remote connectivity.

Hah, I know this program very well. I used it to help a friend during one or two exams. Its really a handy tool and best of all is that its free. :)
I doubt that I will ever use it for myself but its really useful if you need to help someone else or need help from someone. I would prefer a program that I can use to control my PC at home from another PC. But I'm pretty sure that there are other programs for those tasks. :)

Hmmm... I have used this software more than a gazillion times for many purposes like Client presentation , remote desktop , Remote help and stuff like that! My programming teacher and a friend of mine lives at least 350 km away from my place! He taught me Python programs from his computer only using both of our internet! But, as phoenix said, hackers may use it to plant virus in servers and other computers and create bots!

hi! I don't think it is such a good software, because we can have may problems with it, if it is in the wrong hands in the wrong time. Many hackers use it to broke the PC of other people and I have never used it, or if i , I will use it with some friend of mine
