Do you think we dream about things in our life? Do you think dreams mean something or they are just fun? Why do you think we have scary dreams?

I had a scary dream last night that my chocolate lab was hit by a car and all I can remember is herlooking up at me with sad eyes as if to say "help, please fix, you always fix". It was very disturbing. BTW I sent you a friend request concerning one of your other discussions but you have not accepted.

Dreams are said to be thoughts, images, and feelings experienced while sleeping. During a typical lifespan, a human spend a total of 6 years of dreaming (which is about two hours each night). It was found that people all over the world dream of mostly the same things. Personal experiences from the last day or last week are frequently incorporated into dreams. People tend to have scary dreams or nightmares maybe because they have experienced negative events the past few days or maybe that person thought of something scary before going to bed.

Wow! 6 years of dreaming that is a lot! I guess most of what we dream is current but some of the time I dream about things or people from my past and I wonder if I am missing them or thinking of them and then I dream about them. That happens o me a lot. Or it is a current situation but with someone in the past. Weird!

I think dreams have meanings. Whenever I have a dream, i searched for its meaning on the internet. There are a lot of reliable sites that actually interpret your dreams for you. Amazingly, some of my dreams really make sense. That's why I was convinced that they really do have meanings.

I never thought of searchg on the internet for what your dreams mean. That is a great idea. I am going to try that. Sometimes they don't make sense or you can't remember them all. Can you remember most of what happens in your dreams that you look up?
