Are you good at Chess?

Hi Healthbeauty! Yes, I do play chess and I am good I guess! I play on FICS. Free Internet Chess Server. I learnt Chess in my twenties but I was very much interested so learnt it well with regular practice. I did win some tournaments too. As far as, Genius and Chess. Chess develops cognitive abilities as it makes a person to think and apply logic. But other than that Chess and Genius are apart. Someone might be genius in painting but he might not play chess and a genius chess player might not paint anything. Happy Mylotting!

No i am not. In fact i really can't play chess. During my college days our professor tought us how to play it but still i can't. Maybe it's not too late, i could ask my 6 years old nephew how to play it LOL!

I do not play chess, i do not understand chess. I believe those people who are playing it are smart and they are born with it. I never tried playing. But if a certain person will try to help me out to learn, I will surely wants to try to learn.

Im not that good in playing chess games but i win sometimes specially when im in the mood to play.i dont think people who plays chess are genius its because its just a game of strategies maybe the real genius are those in the upper level of the game the Grandmasters and the National Masters.they are the one's who has the capability to see the game ten moves ahead.if that is not genius im sure nothing is.these days not many are into the game of chess and i think its one the games that we should really have a focus on.

Hi Health, Well, i am genius but i am not a good chess player hahahahahaha...! well, i usually hear that comment about people who play chess. i think they are wise and smart enough to determine and be certain with their moves to make a score. i know how to play chess but i seldom play it but it's a fun mind-game!
