AMD is definitely cheaper because it's not as popular as Intel. As it's not that popular, there are other implications like it may be more difficult to find people to repair AMD processors, there maybe some hardware that are not compatible with AMD. This made it less user-friendly.

can you give me an example of a "hardware" not compatible with its processor?perhaps you are talking to anintel processor to a AMD motherboard?lol...
i dont think there are any...try figuring that one out..and once your processor is damage you dont need to repair it...replace it instead...

From intel to AMD..most gamers do prefer AMD.. and i do think which is better should not be a question. it would depends on how the user would use his/her PC. Intel is very much expensive since you are also buying the name. AMD might be inferior but they do perform well.their even better than other intel procie of their level. Maybe one of these days Intel will fall.... wait until AMD develops their new multi-core procie's.

I prefer Intel as well even it is a little more expensive. I think the product is much better and there is more support. Saying this I don't believe that AMD have a bad product however it may also be the brand name but I have heard from others as well that Intel is much better.

I would recommend intel as it is much integrated not that AMD is useless for that fact, but I feel intel comes in a wider range and is used by many people! The usage of AMD is limited to some computers unless it comes pre-installed with AMD!
Go Intel!

I think Intel is better.. because mostly persons are prefer to intel and it's a reputed company.. and number of problems on their product is very less.. so I think Intel is better..
