I have drunk tea since I was about 6 months old, my mother used to put it in my baby bottle and the same for my brother and sister, even our dog had tea in his bowl.
My kids didn't really like tea, they had milk or juice or water to drink and only now they are grown up do they sometimes choose tea or coffee.
Some people only drink coffee and some like only fizzy pop(soda).
What do you drink for your everyday drink?
If you drink water ,can you have it straight from the tap or must you boil it first or only drink bottled water?

I suppose it was called that because it pepped you up,you know gave you more of a lively feeling.
I think here(UK),coca-cola is more popular than Pepsi.

I once was very addicted to coffee but I used to feel as if I wanted to climb the walls as I drank it quite a lot. I changed to tea and felt much better and calmer. And now, I actualy prefer the taste. I prefer the smell of coffee still, but find the taste too bitter now. Strange how tastes can change. _Derek

I like the smell of coffee too especially when it is in one of those coffee percolators, they smell rich and warm.
A lot of people don't let their children drink coffee as it makes them too restless.
Even chocolate can have too much caffeine in for children.

I have to have one cup of tea in the morning to start my day. After that all I drink is water. I don't much care for tap water. Hubby bought me a water cooler for Christmas one year so now we get 10 gallon jugs of water which, I believe, is filtered by reverse osmosis or some such thing. I drink it all day long and if I forget my water bottle when I got out then I will buy a bottled water at the store.

Our tap water is not bad.
In the summer I'll drink that but I always drink tea too so i have about 4 or 5 teas a day and water the rest.

I haven't ever had iced tea, it sounds like a strange thing to do to tea.
If you can manage yogurt but not milk it is most likely lactose because yogurt breaks down the lactose that is in milk. My niece is lactose intolerant but can eat yogurt.

Hello,pandaeyes!
Like you,I drink tea. But I don't know when I began to enjoy tea. Everyday after meals,I will drink a big cup of tea,and when I feel tired, I also choose to drink tea instead of coffee.Of course,I like other drinks, milk, juice, soda drinks, but tea has always been my favorite.

We always have ours with milk.
I like it very strong.
My dad used to say strong enough to float the spoon , my husbands grandma used to say strong enough to trot a mouse across it.

we used to have cream soda and tizer if we had a visitor coming to tea when I was small.
You could get the deposit back if you took the glass bottles back to the shop when they were empty. Some of the local boys would hunt about to see if they could find discarded bottles so they could have the deposit money.
