Will you boycott an entire company just b/c you had a problem with 1 product?

I spend a lot of time writing and reading reviews, so over the years I've learned that every company has their "lemons", but it doesn't mean that the entire company stinks. In reading reviews, I find a lot of people will say they had a problem with a product, so they are going to boycott the entire company. Even some will say "well I liked product x and y, but since product z was so bad I'm never buying this brand again!!"
I don't really get that philosophy. Does one bad product or one "lemon" make the entire company a failure? Should you really boycott an entire company just because you didn't have luck with 1 product?
I tend to weigh the good with the bad. If a company produced 3 lotions I liked, for example, then I wouldn't get too huffy if there was 1 lotion they made that I didn't like. In addition, it takes a lot for me to completely give up and Boycott a company. I will try and try again at least a few times, and usually even if there are a few failed products it doesn't mean I'll never buy that brand ever again.
What about you? Are there any brands or stores you absolutely refuse to purchase just because they had a few products that had issues? Will you ever give them another chance or do you feel you are done with them for good, no matter what?

I'm too lazy for boycotting myself. Boycotting requires that you actually pay attention to what brand you buy every time, and keep up with what company makes what product.
I'm just not that involved in shopping. If I bought a product that I didn't like, I wouldn't buy that product again, but I really doubt I would go to the effort of looking into the brand name and choosing not to buy from that whole brand again!
