ATT or Verizon. Which has the better coverage.

I am thinking about getting a new cell phone, and I was wondering which service would be the better of the two. I have a couple friends that have Verizon, and they seem ok with the service, but I don't know of anyone who has ATT. Any opinions would be helpful. I would hate to commit to a two year deal and then not enjoy the service.

I like AT&T better because I think they have a better cellular coverage area where I live. I don't think Verizon has that good of cellular coverage in my area. However, a lot depends on where you live. You will want to check their coverage area to see if it covers the area you reside in or travel to. I do like AT&T's customer service tons better than I liked Verizon's. Hope this gives you some things to think about while making your decision.

My experience with AT&T wireless coverage has been some what ok but it just isnt as good as Verizon's. While AT&T has more phone and plan choices to choice from than Verizon. When i was using AT&T i had some poor experiences with their wireless services. But my experience with Verizon has been much better but they wireless services has been much better and reliable.

I have Verizon and as of now there coverage has been great! The only thing I don't like is there charges. But I suppose every company has strange charges. I never roam and I was in the Upper peninsula and had decent coverage. Although, if your worried about charges AT&T does have those roll over minutes which seems better then not using your minutes and them going to waste when you paid for them. Just my opinion!
