I hate this kind of scenario, especially when I forget to save my files and documents and the computer is on Deepfreeze mode. I usually turn off the computer, relax until my headaches gone then I will start from the top again. what's yours?

I start by closing any unwanted programs I don't need running this includes shutting down any background programs as well. This frees up ram which helps with performance. I check my router and internet settings to ensure i'm receiving the best signal. I perform a system clean up and promptly restart, and e walk away for a bit. This prevents freezing quite as often and helps my system working its best.

I generally just turn my computer off until I calm down. And then start from where I left off. Recently my computer had a complete freak out. And crashed like every 10-15 minutes, sometimes not even that... It taught me to save it whenever it crossed my mind though!

I would try using Ctrl+Alt+Del first to see if I can end the task I'm performing to get the computer back to working. If it doesn't work, then I would just power off my computer directly and restart the computer.

It is really annoying when this happens
I usually do the same thing, I save anything important that I am occupied with or working on before shutting the computer down for a while, passing the time by doing something else, before returning to it later.
