We use those ones you can recharge so it isn't much of a problem they will last at least a couple of years. But what about the batteries that can't be recharged? What do you do with them? Are they recycleable?

We take them to office depot or whatever the place is called and they have a recycling center for batteries. I can not see throwing batteries in the garbage and having them go to a landfill.

We do use rechargeable batteries as well but sometime you have to buy batteries for something else you need right away. Christmas time and birthdays are the worst time for needing batteries if you have kids.

Regarding the used Battery? I just throw it in the garbage can. Those batteries that i prefer to dispose are those small size batteries like Double A. But if the battery are big like battery for car and motorcycle I just sell it on a junk shop. The price of is good and the price depends on the size.

I also use recharge batter too. It's kind more easy and economy. I still have used some batteries can't be recharged, when I in the college there have have some place you can put your used batteries there, and they will recycle to some place. But now I don't know where can I do this ,so I just throw it away, kind bad, but I will really apreaciate if you somebody tell me where can I throw my batteries away!

I used to collect those used batteries and wanted to see if I can do anything about them. In the end, when I kept them too long, they started to become oily and there's some smell coming from them, I suspect is methane. So to prevent further complications, I just throw them into dustbin.
