How often do you pray?

Oftentimes we forget to pray, when we get up in the morning, when we are busy in our daily activities,we forget to pray when we are happy and we achieved something, we even cannot say a single word "thank you "because we are happy with our achievements. Before we close our eyes to rest we forget to pray and we don't even say thank you for another day our life.But..When trouble, trials, problems comes, we cannot count how many times we pray asking his guidance and help? Are we just praying when life is in misery and when life full of problems? How often do you pray,Do you have a quality time to yourself and God in prayer? Happy Lotting and God bless everyone!!

Hmm I do it everyday in before I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner also every time I go to sleep sometime I forgot to pray if I'm so stress from all the activity everyday. I pray all the time when I have some problems going on with my life I ask God for guidance and protection and free from anxiety from my life it just give me peace every time we pray and help us reflect our evil ways that we just have done towards our love ones and those who are close to us. Prayer is good and help us move on with our lives so let us all keep on praying. ^ ^

gee.. you pray a lot. I'm not that "healthy" spiritually. Compared to you I'm a black sheep. I guess I need to pray today to God to forgive for slacking so much on my prayers :(

I don't have a set schedule to pray. I used to when I grew up. But, its not the same now that I'm an adult. And, its not formal prayer that I do seeing as how I don't consider myself all that religious. But, if the mood strikes I might actually pray. THough I think people who only pray when they are stressed really don't have anything else they can do. Sometimes praying serves to ocupy the mind to keep a person sane during times of crisis. But, that's just my opinion.

This is not a compulsion for me, I try to pray everyday but again that is not done because of being busy. I believe in action however praying does give me strength and confidence in me. We are human being and everyone should thank god for giving a chance to be part of this lovely world. While praying I feel that there is a calm in my mind, so enjoy praying. thank You God.

I always pray to my God in my heart, beside the 5 times to pray. Im a muslim and i must pray 5 times a day, thats an obligation. And more often i pray to my God, i feel more close to Him. I can feel him beside me and always help me to solve my problem. To thank you to my God each time i get an achievement already become a habit for me, so i will never forget to say thank you to Him for everything i get in this life. I hope that im not the kind of person, who only pray in miserable time, and totally forget Him when i'm happy. I want to be a person who always remember to my God

Well praying 5 times a day is good, its an obligation between you and your religion, and i think praying deep within your heart is better when you think your not obliged to in doing so..Praying is a communication between you and God,no matter its an obligation or not if your praying sincerely then it make sense..Keep praying my friend for you and the world.. Happy Lotting and God bless!

I pray in the morning, afternoon, dinner time, evening, night (if I am awake) at church, in the bank, on the phone, and any other time that I can find time. Even if it is just a quick thank you I pray. I think that it is my open line of communication to God. I talk to him regularlyand he keeps me going.

Prayer occurs most during times of difficulty, but thanks to God are expressed to him multiple times a day.

I'll be hypocrite if I'll say I pray a lot. And I'll be telling a lie if I do say I don't like praying. But my prayers are not those preformed and customary ones that are well memorized for the sake of praying. I pray just as if I'm talking with Him face to face. We people tend to pray and be kneeling all day when we have problems. I won't deny I'm one of them who do that but with little twist of thanking Him first for all the blessings and then comes the avalanche of requests. I sometimes forget praying. But I pray good enough to say but not everyday.

I do worship five times a day, and during that ritual, I pray. Five times a day is due in my belief. In each pray, all the reading is words of pray, so it can be called that I pray to God very often.

honesty sometimes i forgot to pray when i got up especially when im almost late at work but i know its not good...because as children of God we should be thankful to God always for all the good & bad things. I'll do pray anytime i want.

It depends how much I need to do it. My heartfelt prayer I like to do it at bed time. When I do it, I feel serene and 99% of the time I fall asleep without realizing it. My prayers are more conversations than prayers. I start as a prayer and continue as a conversation :)) that's the only way I be sincere not fake. God likes sincere/heartfelt prayers and NOT repetitive/embellished/impressive words.

Right now, I'm still praying only before I sleep. But I'm trying to aim to pray in the morning as well as during meals. It's quite difficult to change the habit but I think I would try my best. However, whenever I pray for something and my wishes fulfilled, I would always give thanks to the Lord. Other than that, I only pray during services, youth sunday school and church gatherings. But I think consistent praying is something necessary to be developed in all Christians to help us in understanding God's decrees on us and to learn to put him in the first place in our heart while struggling with the world's temptations.
