Laptop maintenance

Get a stand for your laptop. Clear vents often so that heat can come out, and don't put your laptop on cushiony things; its harder for the heat to come out. Oh and don't drop it ;)

i also have a new laptop and actually, this is my first laptop, my first computer. i have no experience as to maintenance but i know computers for a long time. maybe, as we both new to laptops, we just have to be careful in handling and using it. we should not eat in front of the laptop as some food particles might drop and get in the keyboard. fluids are also one of the enemies of these gadgets, so refrain from drinking, while using the computer. i have a bag which i use to carry the laptop wherever i go out with it. that would protect the outer part or the housing or the casing of the unit. if you have kids, don't let them use the laptop by themselves. always have someone look at them everytime they have to use it.
