I was appalled to find that my transfer from PayPal to my bank account in India got reversed. While PayPal reimbursed all charges involved and I got back my money, the problem now stands that many freelancers are unable to receive funds.
If you transfer funds marked off as payments for goods or services, the payment goes through. But how long more before they allow us to withdraw funds to our banks?
The least that they could do is to inform people of it. It's not even there in their policy updates!!! I'm not sure whether it's the RBI's problem of "catching the bull by the tail" or whether it's PayPal's issue.
Why can't people target corruption in India rather than target poor freelancers who depend on PayPal for their living????!!!

I feel so sorry to read what all you are feeling at the moment. But friend this issue has been addressed already by loads of mylotters here and this discussion is not new in any sense as far as my knowledge goes. What I am expecting to see here is the updates if any from fellow mylotters on what has transpired with paypal. I have been at mylot after a gap of around 4 days and I was very curious to know what the current position is.
I feel that you are right that paypal does not have these updates with them. So, initially many users felt that as the words did not come from the horse's mouth, someone might be there who is playing a cruel joke. But as days went by and things got clearer,...
You are right buddy, people do not target corruption in India. Corruption is what get their works done, then why would they abolish such a 'good' system.
