i think still the usb hard drives have the machanical movements and which decrease the speed of the data transmission somewhat based on the location of data.
but USB pendrive does not have any mechanical movement.
so what do you think to have a same capacity USB drive is better than the USB hard disk.

I think a USB hard drive is much better than a USB flash drive! I own a WD Passport Hard drive 250 GB [USB] and a SONY 8 GB flash drive! The speed of my hard drive is miles better than the speed of my flash drive! In my HD it is about 40 MB/s whereas for my flash drive it is about 20 MB/s!

I have two flash drives and two external, USB hard drives. For me which one I am using really depends on how much data I am planning on transporting. I typically use my external hard drives only on my PC, but I also have them available to take with me if I need to do some work outside my house and I am going to be using my laptop. The flash drives are great to transport pictures from my own house to give to a friend as well. Do I have a specific choice between the two types of file storage, no I don't. I really like that the external hard drives are so large in capacity but I also like that the flash drives are so easy to transport.

Based on my experience, USB hard disk is the best to use. But it depends upon on the specification of your computer. USB pendrive is good only for minimal usage
