what is current best operating systems for now ???

They think apple is the best because apple OS cannot be easily infiltrated by virus because their not using an open source flat from and mostly virus that had been developed this days are windows based there are rare cases that mac OS are being attacked by virus.

i choose windows xp because it easy to use than other and ubuntu because it opensource so we no need money to buy it we can request for the CD from their website

Hello wongurip! My honest opinion is that there is no best operating system for everyone. That is why there are so many. In saying that, I believe the majority of the people who use Windows or Mac do so because they believe that these OS's are the only two that exist. I not here to start an OS war or any thing but how can someone say that an OS is the best when they have not tried the rest? I have not tried every OS know to man but I have used quite a few. With that being said Slackware is my favorite OS. I'm one of those people that love to know about everything that interest me. So since I love programming and dealing with computers, Slackware Had to be the choice. It's not easy by any means when it comes to configuring and that is another aspect that i love and hate about it. With So many people knowing how to use, program, and configure on a Win or Mac I don't trust them. I still use Win98, Win XP, Win Vista, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, ubuntu, and Backtrack 4 final because i have to. I do believe that all the above mentioned and others do a good job at being a great OS for most people in the world. THAT IS ANOTHER REASON I LOVE SLACKWARE. jmo
