what if facebook decided to pay their members?

Depends on what extend of the payment like, if it's like just join and you get the money, I think there would a lot of fake accounts and people may be deterred from joining the site since it's not really a good place to socialise with all the inactive accounts and same name. If it's like money for activity as well, then I guess almost everyone who knows how to use the Internet will join since it's good and easy money and you get a lot of friends information out there as well.

well that would be a very good news for everyone if that happpen and probably, i would be spending long hours in facebook :)

Well that would be well and good for them. But if I were the owner of facebook I would not do that since Facebook is earning without even offering any sort of payment to its members. Money comes in even without them encouraging anyone from joining the website.

well from a members point of view facebook paying would be great from the users perspective, though from a business point of view not sure how that would actually benefit facebook they are already number 1 in social networking sites, and look at those sites that do pay their members its just full of spam and people aren't really interested in using them as social sites more as earning sites. So from a business model facebook is doing fine as it is and have their targeted geographic already using the site so doubt it would ever happen.

I think if they were to pay people to be on facebook there would be alot more people on there all the time as well as there would be alot more people that would become members as well as go back to facebook.Facebook must get enough money through the site so why do not that is what i say i think they should at least give their members something especially all the people that go on there.

wow. hmmm. I think loads. Facebook is the "it" in today's social networking sites. I think there are still those who would cram up to join. lol

How i wish they will. But i quess they will not implement it because they don't need to do some strategy to have plenty of member. They are on top of the social networking world in the net.

Well, that would be a such a great news! I think it's also time for the creators to give back what they got from the members. If it weren't because of the members, then the account would not be as popular as it is right now and for them as rich as they are right now. I agree on your idea. :) Hopefully! Lol.
