Do you think giving away your money to help others is a way to enjoy life?

Each day when we go out ,we will encounter tons of people in need.Sometimes,you can just encounter this need from an radio programme or a TV news.People will think that it is always a joy to give.But I feel that we need to highly alert on all scams online or offline.There are many people who will ask for donation in my city but soemtimes,those people may have mental problems or some may use our donation to pay for the staffs commission.That's why people in my city are all highly alerted on anybody who will ask for donation.It is a joy to give but when you lost your money because of the scam experinece,you will probably think it twice before you will donat again.Whjat do you think and share with us with your experience?

why dont you buy some good food and serve those old people at 'old folks home' or buy school materials n give away to children at the orphanage .. this will definatly ensure you spent your money the right way n did not get lost in transaction

Although your advice is a good one,I prefer to make donation to the Salvation Army.It is because it is a Godly used organization which will always help the poor and the needy as well.And most imporatnat of all,they share the gosple and really change the world step by step in a practical way.I specially appreciate the founder of this great army and William Booth was his name.Because I knew that he got his vision directly from God through a powerful dream.And Thank God that William Booth's dream came true after many years.Well,I hope that there will be more organizations like that in this world.Have a good day.

I would love to be rich enough that I wouldn't have to worry about money and be able to help others in need. However, if I had this opportunity I would make sure it was a legitmate need and that I wouldn't be scammed. I think the greatest thing is being able to help others in need, I just wish I was blessed enough to do that.
