Child or Animal

If you see a child abandoned in the street you help?
And of you see an animal (eg. dog)?
The reality of his country may be different, but i know many people who "melt" when they see an animal, but they ignore a child.

I know what you're trying to say and I kind of agree with you. I also notice people being more sad about stray animals but are apathetic of abandoned children and even fear and mock them. Really sad. As to why this happens, I wouldnt know. Thanks for sharing this. This made me think. I wish I knew why this happens in our society.
