hey all,
just listened to a few news broadcast's over the last week that basically puts a doubt on man made global warming,
there has been some emails sent from sciencetist's ocross the world which have been intercepted and removed because they are saying that they doubt the effect that man is having on global warming is as high as first thought.
They have also been police raids to remove documents from these sciencetists,
this seems very strange to me as I think there is global warming happenning but I don't think man is accelerating this normal earth temperature cycle to the degree that we have been led to believe, I think we are having a small effect on it.
Though I still think we should all recycle etc etc not really to curb emmission's but more to conserve the natural resources fro future generations to come
over to you guy's

Hi Benny. I dont believe global warming has anything to do with humans. Yes all the garbage in the ocean, thats man-made but the weather.....well not from everyday people.
BUT, do you remember about a month ago, they said on the news here on tv that it snowed in Beijing, China and that the snow was MAN-MADE. Apparently, the Government of China is now capable to make snow.
SO, if the Chinese are able to make snow, Im sure other countries can make it also, plus rain, wind, storms.
Im starting to think more and more that the bad weather we're having lately is not due to global warming BUT to human made weather. Its been 2 yrs now that Ive noticed something strange with the clouds and now I know that when I see a certain type of cloud, it'll rain/snow. My husband says I need to become the next weather-woman on tv as Im 100% accurate!!

hey magical to be honest there are different types of clouds so not too sure about man made weather to be honest.
I studied clouds and formations in college,
the storm clouds are usually cumulonimbus clouds these are the huge towering ones that are sometimes really dark storm clouds, these go as high as 39,000 feet.
You can also get clouds which are wispy those are cirrostratus clouds which appear at altitude and don't cause weather effects.
Or the most common are the low level clouds stratocumulos these are your normal rain/snow clouds but don't generate as severe weather as the cumulonimbus clouds.
So not too sure about man made weather but yeah you can defiantly predict the weather from the type of cloud but thats been happenning since I studied them at college many moons ago now he he he
I think the snow effects and the recent snow in italy is just basically the earths patterns changing naturally I think we have a minimal effect on the weather as I said earlier we have had ice ages and high temperatures in the earths past yet the dinosaurs and early life forms werent driving cars or the early human lifeforms weren't sending chemicals into the atmosphere yet we still had ice age etc etc.

I have been wondering this myself. I do not understand if there is global warming why are so many places getting hit with a large amount of snow? See to me having a warming process of the earth I would think would produce very high temps not low ones. I still think we need to do our part to help the earth like you said but I also feel that maybe it is a little bit of who ha about that global warming is effecting us right now. Than again I am not scienctist so maybe what I said is the oppsite. Maybe with global warming the cold air is what happens instead. Thanks for the discussion and happy mylotting to you.

well my understanding of global warming is that it will affect the weather extremes more than the temperature I think global warming is a bit mis-leading as they say the earth's core temp will rise a few degree's
which is supposed to cause more extremes of weather, though we have always had freak weather events from time to time etc etc
I am going to keep being sensible with conserving our natural resources but to be honest I am getting a little bit cheesed off with all this uncertainty about whether global warming is actually man made or if its just the natural earth weather cycles that occurs naturally over a time period.
I am a rational thinker and open minded but even I am now starting to think that there is a conspiracy somewhere that goverments don't want us to hear about.

Well I've always thought that the news was 40% propaganda, 40% miss-information, and 20% truth so I don't know where that leaves us.
If the government is trying to control the media over the global warming issue then it is either worse than we have been led to believe or not really like we thought to begin with.
As far as the recycling goes; I am all in with you on that one. I think it is our responsibility to recycle. After all, we are using up the earth's resources faster it can produce more. If we don't become more "green" as they say, then we will be stuck in a bind with all this technology and no resources.

yeah none of us so called mere mortals really know for sure, all I know is the earth's history we have had ice ages etc etc
and am sure the dinosaurs weren't driving around in cars and working in factories yet still had an ice age and the worlds climate then still warmed up
but yeah makes me think are we being the whole truth, or is the goverments making money from us believing in global warming whether it's man made or not.
