Squad Changed!. Will India be able to beat South Africain next match??

The selectors at last after beating India in the first test match against SA changed the squad.
it is far better squad than that. choosing Karthik ,Raina is a good move.
But doubt on Sreesanth,he was out of form in last few matches.
Changing squad is not enough, India should won the match to stay at no 1.
it will be a very competative match, i think SA will try to Draw the match.
As Laxman is fit i think Laxman and Karthik will get place in the team.
will indians be able to face the SA bowling & batting attack.
indian batsmen should find their form back.
in bowling department harbajan should bowl well if indias want to beat SA.

it is good to see the squad change. What adds to this good news is return of VVS Laxman. So possibly, Badri or Saha will be replaced by Laxman in the playing XI.More importantly, Bhajji has promised to strike back as well. There is still some hope to win, though uncertainty looms large over this Indian team.

now batting will be quiet ok, but our bowling will be staying backward once agin.
if zaheer dont get the wickets then india will be on lossing side, because you cannot win a test without picking 20 wickets and the bowlers are almost same and not going to make much impact! lets watchout.

I agree with you Rajeev. The Saffas captain Smith also seems that he might not play in the this upcoming game due to an injured finger. As an Indian fan, I do hope to see him resting in the pavilion. But still, you never know...South Africans are highly unpredictable. Their bowlers look very good and surely, India needs to work out a plan to counter Dale Steyn and Co.

The return of Laxman is always good, but give badrinath a fair run for the enormous amount of runs he had scored on the domestic circuit.Also the return of sreesanth is encouraging considering the lean patch of ishant.Indians should win the kolkata test not by preparing the so called "sporting pitch", but by claiming the 20 wickets and retaining the no.1 spot.

I think more than the squad the outcome would depend on the pitch. If the pitch does not favor spin and is a so called "Sporting" wicket that favors the pacemen then it would be advantage South Africa. I saw some stupid comments from the curator stating that he has prepared a sporting wicket etc. Which country prepares sporting wicket to the strength of the opponents. Do you get a spinning track in South Africa or Australia? Then why should India prepare the sporting tracks? If I had been in BCCI, I would have straight fired this guy!!

you are absolutely correct, why indians are not making a pitch favouring our strength?
instead we make pitches which favour the strength of opposition and therby gie advantage for the opposition.

Change of squad cannot guarantee the win. Change of strategy is what is required from the Indian team in the next match. SA is a professional team they play like professional but although Indian players have more talent and their is much better batting and bowling line up but still something that lakes in them is Team Management and Professional approach towards their game. They need to play according to situation all the time . mostly players opt to play for their own carrier or fame that is not good.
In the next match I would hope that Indian team will cover all their deficiency and Surely try to win the match.

i cannot completly agree with you as you said that the players are playing for their career,the players are playing with their own passion or style.
it dosent mean that they are playing only for their growth.

after losing first match against south africans, we are keeping our eyes over 2nd test match that will happened in kolkata, till then india have very strong backround over this pitch, but presently indians facing lots of difficulties and troubles because leading test cricketers like rahul dravid, vvs laxman and yuvraj singh are injured, and the pace bowling attack of south africans are very very good and better than indians, specially in the last match, only dale steyn creates a whole and basic difference between both team, hashim amla, another indian origin batsmen, makes double century against indians, i must say he was at his quite best

yes india will really miss dravid, yuvi,,
as you said dale steyn he mae the match for them.their basmen also batted well.
india should really play well to won the match

i think should play well to win the test and square the series . nothing can be told at the moment we should wait till the start of the test match . i think the south africans are in good form in all the departments and we should play well to win the test . i think the arrival of laxman in the middle order will be a great addition . the lights of sachin , dhoni , gambir, sehwag should play well to bring india to a win . our bowlers should bowl lot better . they are the ones who can win a test match . since they can take those 20 wickets to make a side to win . lets hope that india wins and squares the series and maintains its number one status .

as you said the comming of laxman will make the indian middle oder much stronger.
the opening pair should bat atleast for 150 runs,.
the bowlers should bowl well ,if they were able to took 20 wickets , i think india will win

I really hope India win this match and retain the top spot in the ICC test rankings.
I heard that the ICC rankings released after this series is one last time for this year and whoever wins the match will stay on top for the rest of the year.
As far as the team changes goes, I think it's really a good move by Kris Srikanth to put Raina and Karthik back in.
I think this team is well balanced right now and the return of Sreeshanth should strengthen Indian bowling attack as well...
Let's hope India win

i think south africa is far better team than India.India can only hope for draw and if bad luck,loss
