I am not really expecting any gift from my boyfriend this Valentine's Day but I just hope he remembers to call me. I am not a materialistic girl and I only want to be thought of. I am not with my boyfriend so I just wish he will call me this Valentine's Day and that would be too much!

Oh what I would give for just a little romance from my husband on Valentines's Day, acutally any day. He once told me that he was a romantic, hah! We've been together for 25 years and there's been no romance. We lived together for four years and it was me that brought up the marriage question, no nice diamond ring, no romantic proposal. There has never been any flowers, we do exchange cards on birthdays and Christmas but that's it. I am fortunate though that I do know that he loves me, he shows me in a lot of little ways through the day, he tolerates my pets, he tolerates a lot from me, I'm not easy to live with (I'm a grouch). But just once, I would like a little romance. Just once.

The only thing I want is for my husband to cook dinner, and clean up after. We are saving to put down a new floor, so I don't want anything extra.

unrealistically i want my boyfriend wrapped in a bow on my doorstep. he's off at school in another state so i don't see him. but realitically, a phone call or a card or even cute text/email would be fine with me. i am already thankful for what i have, i don't need anything else from him but just a little "happy valentines day"

Well, our school sells roses to be handed out so I'm hoping to get one of those! I kept hinting at him to buy me one and I'm pretty sure he got the hint. =] I wouldn't mind to spend the day with him! My gift to him is taking him out to breakfast. He loves this one restaurant in our town and I thought it would be a nice surprise. I just love when he gets me flowers. It's my favorite thing to get. Especially because usually he surprises me with them and I'm never expecting them. He's gotten me candy too and thats a possibility. I love candy too!!
