What if your best friend left for abroad without meeting you ?

Same is the case happened to me today . My best friend who had been my friend since last 25 years had to left for New York and I was unable to see him off. And I even didn't knew he was leaving . I came to know when he reached their and told me that He might not come back as He has immigrated to US and he would opt to work there and to settle their for life long.
It was really heart breaking for me. He was my child mate the only person in the world to whom I used to share each and every thing in my life. From my childhood naughty tricks to My first love.
Has anything like that happened to anyone else here in My Lot. ???

Hi! I don't think it is going to happen, because my best friend is really the best one and I am 10000% sure he will not make such a thing. three years ago he left for abroad, because he went to a vacation with his family for a whole month in Spain, and he called me twice, sent me 3 post cards and we chat several time via skype. SO that's why I am sure he will not do something like that

I hope so dear. but before what happened yesterday I used to think the same but once a big opportunity came to him he flew away never thought about his best friend even once. Monetary issues have become much more than relations today . Everybody prefers about his financial benefits now a days..

nothing like this happened to me ever.
It is because i didn't have a best friend.
but the thing you told was really touching to me.
your friend should have to told you about this.
