Several times in my life! My first boss for instance! I so desperately needed that job - I normally get up late, but the thought of that man always had me up from my bed much ahead of time. No he was not even a six footer! But he had those strict eyes. Kind man, god bless him. If he'd been any different, I would be nowhere. :) So who's been the Tom cat in your life, and have you gained from having such a person in your life?

I had a Tom in my life, he wasn't my boss but someone I really liked to start with but faded away in a few days. I tell you, he did all the chasing just like Tom does and I was really like Jerry, hiding away in every corner I could. I did not gain anything in having that person in my life. In fact it made my life hell as I had no freedom to go anywhere, he would sit outside my work until everyone was out, I had to hide for about an hour just so I could go home. Was hell really, I think there are too many Tom's out there.

Oops! That can be really bad! Hope you have recovered from that psychopath's ill treatment. I can understand that. We get confused to leave such psychos, isn't it? Because the moment we plan to leave, the person transforms himself into a good person. And we are left forgiving previous trespasses. :) I really understand that feeling. :) Anyway, welcome to the a happier world. :) Cheers! :)

When I was posted to some new desk, the work, I felt, was a bit complicated. Another lady officer gave me a brief description about the desk work and immediately I started working on my own. So I normalised in my new desk immediately due to that lady officer.

hi vandy I am trying to think, hard for me so early in the morning
but not a tomcat chasing me but a Emily cat, short, really stout, and bi polar. one day she was the perfect boss, kind , supportive, appreciative of all her staff,oh we were just the best of the best, but hold on next day she was Mr. hyde, furious, she had the most stupid, the most ignorant staff ever and watch out if you were one minute late, or went for your break too early she would explode literally, her double chin wobbling as she called you names a sailor would have blushed at. she literally growled at us. I learned on her down days to stay away from her as much as possible.she knew she was bi polar but refused to take the meds prescribed by her doctor. How i managed to stay there for 23 years is astounding. of course she was not the branch manager when I started to work, and was only there my last year, which was good. what I gained was much knowledge about bi-polar disease.

Hi Hatley, at times I think I am bi-polar. he he. Kidding. Frankly, anybody tells me about any disease, I start thinking I have that one, be it psychological, or otherwise. LOL. I think the person was quite unhappy at home, and may be jealous of you in some way. :) My work experience has shown me that such people behave like that. :) 23 years you said!!!!! What are you made of! Seriously, what do you eat! he he. I reacted several times during such harsh periods. :)
