How will you wake up a person who acts like sleeping?

Its hard to wake up a person who acts like sleeping than to wake up a person who is really sleeping. We all really do this acting many times. Do you have any technique to wake up the person who is acting like this? What I will do is 'I will go near the person and told that I am going to pour water on him/her'. Surely, the person will woke up. If not, I will try some other strategies. So, what will you do?

For me if someone is faking sleep I will either start to sing because that will make anyone laugh or I will start to tickle their feet. That usually works for me. The other thing I have done is start making alot of noise in the room that they are faking sleep.

Yes you have to sing loud and out of tune completely. Its really funny!

Pouring water on them is a good way to do it, but making a really LOUD noise close to where they are sleeping works too...LOL

i'll go for pouring water on them. but be careful not to include the bed sheet.

Hi avimra! I think that is kind of drastic to threaten someone
even if they are pretending to be sleeping, although I'm sure
it would work!lol My boyfriend is the best at pretending he is
sleeping! I can talk to him, yell, shake him and he won't budge!
He will keep pretending that he is sleeping no matter what I do!
I have definitely thought of pouring water on him more than once!
But, I have never gotten to that point! I just keep talking and
bothering him until he responds and after long enough he gets
fed up enough to answer me!lol

I was also thinking about water. lol And I was also thinking about just waking the person up because he's already awake. Anyway, if he's just pretending to be asleep then he will also come to the point of getting tired of pretending and he will just get up. lol

Most of the time I can tell if someone is faking the sleep. What I do with my girlfriend is whenever she is trying to fake me out I will just stare at her for however long it takes, until a see a flicker or movement in her eyes. The only way someone's eyes would move around during sleep would be if they were in the REM state of real sleep.
