Well the 20th season and 10th year of SURVIVOR started with a great challenge with a seperated shoulder and a broken toe. The heroes won the challenge thus getting fire but it was great seeing Boston Rob start a fire for the villians without flint etc. The old fashioned rubbing two sticks together does work as he showed. Then the Villians were WAY behind on the Immunity challenge but came back to rout the heroes. No hidden immunity idol for Russell to find without clues this epsiode. The game play is great as well especially on Russels end. I loved him in the last season. I fear he will be gone first of the villians though. I don't think Coach will make it far this season. We shall see. Rob is looking good as far as game play goes. But now for the result of the first Survivor voted off........ Goodbye Sugar! What are your takes on the Heroes VS Villains season so far? Whom is your fave? As always..... HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I thought the new season started off great! I like the Heroes better than the Villains, so I was bummed to see them lose in the immunity challenge. I think they did the right thing by voting Sugar out. If she was keeping everyone from getting a good night's sleep, she was hurting the team. The previews for next week look pretty interesting. It looks like Rob gets pretty sick. I'm anxious to find out what happened to him. I never liked him in past seasons, but I have to admit that I sort of liked him tonight. He was the only one trying to pull everyone together to get their camp in order. No one else seemed very interested in starting a fire, but they were all pretty happy once he had one going.

Yeah, Boston Rob was very different in this first episode. If he stays in, I wonder if he will keep it up... being the nicest of the villains. But after seeing the previews, I can't help but wonder if he will stay in.

Jeff Probst tweeted on Twitter that we would be hooked within the first 20 minutes... and he was right! I thought it was totally awesome. I do think Russell was a bit rough in the first challenge. Did he really have to bend that's guy's leg way back when they were nowhere near the REAL competition? I think it was Tom, who is older, so I think he was trying to beat him down physically. Jeff had to yell out to play fair. On another occasion I was Russell's fist on someone's throat. I think that was totally uncalled for. I didn't think anyone would have seen Russell play the last game because it was being aired at the time they were filming this season, but people indicated that they knew how he played. I don't know how that is possible. I'm cheering for the Heroes. I like TJ, Colby, Rupert. Too bad Sugar had to go first but, well, she really had to.

So far it was a lot of fun. I don't think Sugar was much of a loss. I love listening to the things that Cirie has to say, and I wonder if Russell won't have the hugest target of them all on his back. We shall see...

Oh man was the show awsomor what. I cant belive they decided to do something like this. And I get to see Russle again he was awsome I really like how he played. I am afraid he may not last though like you said. Rob on the other hand which is my favorite also. Really did prove to them it can still be done by rubbing those sticks together. Year dislocated shoulders broken toes LOL. It was funny to see them catch those chickens that was crazy hey got to eat while you out there right... Well it is going to be a great show. I like how they did Villans against heroes... Well good luck to all of them...

Had the chance to watch this last night. It was interesting to see old faces. Personally I don't the heroes have a chance against the villains. They already have a distinct advantage in scheming and back stabbing. But I was surprised to see that some of the heroes also have it in them to strategize. Should be an interesting season. I would watch. Of course that is if my favorite hockey team does not have a game.

I know that there are a lot of people that have read the spoilers already for this season of Survivor, but I was not one of the people that have done this. What I can say after the first episode is that I am hooked all over again. The competetion between the Heroes and the Villians is awesome and it is very interesting to see the evil people trying to work together while in a sense the Heroes seem to have a eutopia going on in their camp. I thought it was awesome that they were able to catch the chickens so early in the season.
