Just while I am having a nice relaxing sleep, the alrm clock would start ringing. Oh, that's so annoying and disturbing. In fact, I had set it myself not to be late getting to work. It is sort of necessity. Yet, it is so annoying every morning. Do you use alarm clock to wake you up in the morning ? Do you feel annoyed when it starts ringing ?

I never did get annoyed since I am the one who set the alarm. LOL! But can't still help wishing or stealing a few minutes more of sleep. I even set it to snooze every 10 minutes. Almost every morning the alarm gets to ring 2 to 3 times to make sure that i don't steal too much time sleeping.

Yes, i do get annoyed with my alarm clock. I agree it is a necessity to avoid getting late for work but it is really annoying to wake up from a pleasant sleep because of the alarm clock ringing. Nice to see you again on here Greenline. I hope that all is well with you.

I don't use an alarm clock now but used to, when I was working. It is really annoying when you are enjoying your sleep and the early morning sleep is usually the best. It jolts you back to reality and reminds you that you have to go to work.

Yes, it not only used to annoy me I would wake up very disturbed, so one day I started putting cd's.(mine has a cd player) I changed the setting to play the cd instead of the annoying sound. It was mostly relaxing music. Now I just have it set to a radio station I like and most of the time there is music playing.

Yes! thats why I never use the alarm clock next to my bed. if I do have to use an alarm clock I only use the one on my cellphone because the noise seems less annoying on it, the alarm clock near my bed goes BUZZZZZZZZZZZ! really loud and I cant stand sudden loud sounds it just freaks me out.

It really doesn't since it helps me wake up on time to go to work. I have to say that I depend on it thus I see it as a tool to help me be on time just like most of the people out there. There are times that I get annoyed not because of the device itself but because of lack of sleep.

Yes, the alarm clock does annoy me too. But now I can wake up before the alarm clock even sounds. I know that sounds really weird. I can be able to turn off the alarm clock even before it sounds to wake me up. HEHE... I always set up the alarm to play loud radio music to wake me.

Yes, I feel very annoyed when the alarm clock starts ringing. Usually I can't fall asleep and I wake up the whole night, but I always fall asleep right before the alarm clock starts ringing and I hate that. I have a feeling that I could lie in bed and sleep for another 10 hours at that time. I use the alarm clock all the time, because I usually have to get up early. But even if I don't, if I have school at noon, I can still be late because I overslept. It has happened to me. It's crazy. I can't even trust myself to wake up at a decent hour anymore, lol.

Yes! And it is irritating when you are having a nice dream. I wanna throw the alarm clock. But then I have to wake up early to go to work. So I guess can't do anything about it. The alarm clock is just doing it's purpose.

It's funny. I never actually hear it. My husband always gets up and turns it off before I do hear it. He usually wakes me up when he is up and about and getting ready for work. But when I do hear it, yes it really aggravates me.

Yes, and it irritates me too. I know it is important to do that so that we will not be late for work but I agree, it is annoying. What else can we do to wake us up? I think using the alarm is the best way to remind us that is it time to get up and be ready for work or school. It is relaxing during week ends because no alarm clock and you can get up any time you want.

Hey greenline! I always hated waking up to an alarm clock!
I would usually wake up before it would go off and try to
stay awake just so it wouldn't scare the crap out of me!
If it would go off my heart would be racing from that
horrible sound and feeling from being in a deep sleep! At
least they finally made them so you could wake up to music!

yes it annoys me along with alot of small noises like the sound the microwave makes when it stops or the sound that the can of biscuits make when you pop them open. I even can't stand the sound when I set the alarm on my phone, I still set it however because I tend to be up before the alarm goes off so I can turn it off and not hear it go off. Wierd but it works.

I also hate that, I am so comfortable in my bed and the that horrible phone sound start and I am mad for the rest of the day, and sometimes that sound also give me such a headache, I set it up like 10 minutes before the time I should wake up so I don't get late to work, I wish I could wake without the necessity of an alarm clock, but sometimes we can get all we wish.

Sometimes I do, but i won't say it's annoying bcos it is very useful. You cannot put the clock off simply because it wakes you up when you are dreaming or whatever the case might be and end up missing your lectures if you're a student.
