Have you ever lost a school book/textbook?

I have lost a book when I was in elementary school, and I were so sacred to tell my teacher and my parents! In that time, our family didn't have money, and book seems experience. I kind don't remember how it slove, but I just so sacred they will find out! It was the most bad memory in my elementary school life.

Freaking like 5 times, it sucks wen it happens, but if you cant find it, use half.com to find a new one for a lot less, especially if it is an old book!

I lost a textbook back a few years ago. I used to carry my history book on top of my binder and when I was walking to class, I noticed I was only holding my binder. I was so freaked out. I actually thought someone stole it because one of my classes wouldn't allow books and backpacks inside so I left my things outside the room. My mother ended up having to pay for it and I felt so guilty.

Yes, I've lost a textbook before. When I told my teacher about it, he was really sympathize about it but I still had to pay the school money to get it replaced. I couldn't believe how expensive it was It was my fault to lose it but should a bunch of papers bound together really cost that much.....? I hope you could find your textbook and don't have to pay for it.

Yes I did. And ofcourse I have to buy a replacement or else I'll missed every assignments.

Iam an absent minded,I always loose books and such things.Loosing is not any problem but if we cant find it after that it will be trouble.

I am sorry this happened to you. Does the school library have a copy of the book that you can use in the library? Sometimes the instructors will put the book in the library for those who can not afford it. Maybe someone in your class can study with you and the two of you can share a book. I hope someone will return it.

I have misplaced many of my school textbooks and to my good luck, I have got them back! My friends are really trustworthy in tis case, they search for that along with me and I have never really ended up not getting the book!

As far as I can remember, I always take care of school properties especially books. I always take care of things especially if they dont belong to me. I never lost a school book/textbook but there was one incident when one of my classmates lost the book and everyday in class have to pay for it. I didnt like the idea because it was not our fault. This is the main reason why I always take care of school properties because I dont want others to pay for my mistake.

The first year i went to school,I lost three books...haha...and the rest all fell apart...lol

YUp...many. I had lost my note books in school. Now i am an engineering student and i am staying in hostel.So my friends take my books always without asking and when i come back after college i usually find all my books missing. Then i go to each and every room in my hostel to search for my books and i usually end up finding nothing. I get mostly irritated when this happens to my assignments.
