I would like to say that my grandmother passed away in 2006 after suffering from breast cancer. It was hard when they put her on Hospice and said there was nothing else they could do that she had less than a week to survive. It was hard when she passed but for her to feel no more pain in this life was a blessing. We miss you and you will always be in our thoughts.

In memory of my Grandmother who is with my grandfather right now. I hope you are doing good. To my other grandfather whom I didn't know very well very much. thank you so much for being the father of my father.

My great grandfather passed away in 1989 from lung cancer. I was still a young girl at that time, but the fact that we lost him to cancer still has an impact on my life and on some of the decisions that I make with my life. I wish that I would have had the opportunity to have known him better, but I didn't. It is hard to lose someone to cancer because of the fact that it causes so much havoc to their bodies. I hope that eventually there is a cure discovered for all types of cancer.
