have you done petty jobs to pay for your schoo/college fees

Yes, I was a working student during my college days. My father had a heart attack which prevented him from going to work, though my mother also work, the finances were not enough to fend for us. She ask me to stop my going to school to give way to my older brother who is graduating that year. I said I don't want to, I told her that I'll look for a part-time job so I can have money to support my studies. So, that was it, a clerk from 8am to 5pm and a student from 6pm to 9pm, Monday thru Saturday. I wasa able to finish college in 8 semesters and 3 summers. I've learned that when you want your dream to come true, you have to exert more effort.

When I was in college I had to work 2 jobs. I was a bartender and a dog walker. At the time it sucked, but I made it through and earned my degree all on my own.

..hi.. well, I did.. when I was in college, I have to work my way until I graduate.. though I was a scholar, I still have to make some jobs to meet all my school needs because my allowance as a scholar isn't enough to meet all my needs and school requirements.. I became a franchise dealer of avon products and I was able to earn more than I have expected.. I think it was a blessing from God because I never stopped in my schooling.. I even finish it with flying colors.. so its not bad working at the same time studying.. you just have to manage your time properly to work and do school requirements without failing..
