I don't change my phone all the time maybe every two years or so its just a waste of valuable money for you to buy the latest phone every 3 months considering that the features are all the same with the previous units. I'm that kind of person who prefers using those old simple non colored phones because they are tough and durable no matter how much you've drop it its still came out to be fine compare to the colored ones which are easily broken. So I don't change my phone often ^ ^

Like you, I only am interested in the simple and basic features that a cellphone does to us. The basic purpose of communicating is what I consider very important. I don't change cellphones because of my desire to own a latest model. I buy a new cellphone for reasons that I no longer have anything that I can use as the old one may have been destroyed or stolen. Money is scarce nowadays and we need to prioritize things.

I have a basket full of phones, flip phones, regular, nothing too expensive, but i do love to get the pretty colors and for me, i know its silly, but the color is one of the most important things to me. DUH. I may use it for a few months, then i go to a store and see something i like and i will change them.
I'm going to donate the old ones, its not right to have all that stuff when other people could use them.

I hardly change phones because I get attached with phones so I stick with it up until it breaks down. For example, currently I have a Nokia phone not that I like it because I had no choice back then when my Samsung broke. But given a chance, I would stick with my Samsung if only I have the money to have it fixed. My samsung for me is the best since text wise I have the best times of my life with that phone but handy wise, Nokia is okay since it is a candy bar type of phone unlike my samsung is a slide phone.

there was a time when i used to change mobile phones every 6 months, out of my own will to change or out of necessity. between june 2006 and august 2008, i used 5 different high-end phones(i kept one low cost one as back up phone), ranging from motorola L6, nokia 3250, sony ericsson 610i, nokia n81, and nokia n82. i'm still using the n82 and it's been more than one and a half year. i have no immediate plan to buy a new one. i prefer phones with all the common features like a decent or good camera, good music, bluetooth, multi-tasking, etc. feature wise i find nokia smartphones with the symbian s60 and above more user friendly and more suitable for me.

No i never change my mobile often because i love my Nokia N72 set and its very nice. You should be happy with your mobile set because changing with the latest model is not nice.

I would like to have the latest model but I don't change my cellphone so often and I'm not really into cellphones. I just use my cellphone to text and call. If I would buy a mobile phone the features I want in it is that it has good quality picture taking, can play music, has a lot of memory space and can access the internet.

Hi Cloud31,
I only change my phone when it is no longer functional. Or when I lose it. The recent cellphone is only the third unit that I have. I had to buy the second unit because the first one was stolen from my bag when I was in a crowded market in the capital city of our country. My second unit (a Nokia 7250) had to be replaced because it has began to work "part time"
for me. Sometimes it works and at other times, it doesn't.
The latest models of cell phones are really very good ones with the upgraded features. I am not one who buys a unit every time a new model comes out. Money is not easy. With the current phone that I have (with a few upgraded features), I only use its basic features. I am not too interested in the latest models with features that I feel useless for my own use.

i am not really a slave for new releases of mobile phones. My phones can actually last me a long long time. i dont buy new releases because i know they are pricey. i actually choose those not-so popular ones but with great functions. a lot of the popular ones get dated and when a new one comes out in the market, it kinds of sends the signal that you also have to buy that which is very impractical. i am not really too keen of the brand and popularity. i am more into features and longevity. i dont really change my phones often. I only change it when it gets broken or when there's a really really good deal on the market.

As far as I am concerned, I seldom change my mobile phone often. Though I want to change a new one which can be a very popular one in the world, I just have the chance to buy a new one and do not have the money, too. As we know that the phone come out so quickly .I think I can not keep pace with the mobile phone's producing speed.

I change my phone every two to three years. Usually when the one I'm using stops working. I need a working phone lol. I don't use the latest model, I just buy what looks good and is not so expensive. I would love to get a Blackberry or an iPhone, but I don't want to spend so much money on it, especially because it can easily get stolen. If I had more money, I would probably buy myself a more expensive phone with faster internet and a bigger display, but right now the phone I'm using is still working and I don't feel any need to change it.

Ya i do fancy all the latest cellphones and their interesting features(often tempted to buy them) but i prefer sticking to my old set as it has always been with me in my good and bad times. Moreover it has all the features a person would want in his set. So from my side i do like new gadgets but seldom buy them.
Thanks for your question
have a nice day
