Still, I am not yet decided who to vote for this coming 2010 election. For me there are only 3 candidate that I like the most, and I am still observing this three.
I want Noy Noy because he has political drive not to corrupt because of his parents reputation. He is also supported by a lot of local leaders and politicians who were eventually supported him because of the appointment maid to them by the former pres.Aquino as OIC's way back then after the martial law.
With this I can say that he has the drive to lead this local leaders easily for the countries development.
I also like Manny villar, because of his experiences before. He came from poverty and that is very important since he know the feeling's of the poor. He know how it feels to be a poor and he know how the poor thinks.
Of all the candidates, only Manny experienced these previledge, to be a poor and become rich.
Manny serves as the representative of the masses who rose from the ashes to govern and make improvements from where he came from.
I also like Gibo Teodoro, he is not tough in the surveys and at first I think that he is just nothing. After I heard a lot of presidential discussions, it seems that Gibo leads among the candidates, I like the way he reasons out. His answers are very clear and justified and all I can say is that of all the candidates , he is the most brilliant. He is a logical thinker,a qualification to be the president of the philippines.
May 10, 2010 is near, still I am not decide...my observation continues...

I think we all should think it over until the election.
I am too is really confused who to vote for but now I'm more inclined to vote for Gibo but it still might change since he has corrupt people for his friends.
I like Villar before but now I don't. Somehow his commercials has a feel like he is using his poverty before for poor people to vote for him. Besides, the proportion of poor people is greater than that of rich people.
I'm not sure about Noynoy too. He might not be a corrupt person (which is a little impossible) but did he work for something before? I can't remember that he's been a productive senator.

Hi there Varron!!! I am also confused like you on whom to vote this coming national election. But I only have two presidential candidates on my list and that is NoyNoy and Gibo. NoyNoy because he has a clean track record being a representative from Tarlac, He's not linked to any bad issue except the Hacienda Luisita, even though there is huge challenge in running a country, he is supported by these experienced advisers with whom his late mother Cory appointed in different government agencies. I know that NoyNoy wants to continue the legacy left behind by their parents who are both heroes to our nations.
On the other hand, Gibo I think can handle running the country well because the way he thinks what will be good for the country. I also watched some of the presidential forums and saw how he answers cleverly those questions in a given situation. But because of the associations he had with the Arroyo administration and the ruling political party LAKAS-KAMPI, I am in doubt if he would be able to get rid of corruption if he becomes the elected president after the May 10, 2010 elections.
Before the Senate Committee Report for the so-called C5 double-insertion controversy happen, there are 3 presidential candidates I have in my list and that includes Manny Villar. Because of his hardwork & perserverance, he rose from poverty. Also because of his experiences in developing his real estate companies, he was also able to help Las Pinas City turn into a developed city during his 3-term as the representative of Las Pinas to the House of Representatives. Due to his non-attendance during the interpolation of the Senate Committee of the Whole regarding the C5 issue being linked to him, the likeliness of me voting him for president has vanished. Although he attended once, he walked out after delivering his privilege speech, not even bothering to answer one question thrown at him regarding the C5 double insertion issue. What if he becomes the next president, will he evade again questions if his administration is associated to numerous controversies?
I'm still weighing on whom to vote for president this coming 2010 National Elections and I hope that the one I will vote is the right one.

I was not able to register as a voter but if i would to choose who to vote, well i would vote and recommend noynoy, though his credibility as leader is not yet been tested his credibility beaing a person and being a son of the two most powerful leaders in the philippines make him credible enough to hold such position. We all know how great minds they're family have, how broad he is when it comes to politics, although they have some issues thrown onto them, it not that major to consider not like the other candidates, i know only villar has enough credibility other noynoy but as what i see he just too greedy for that power, he has so many gimmicks to buy people's vote, and of course the issues he is facing right now.
that would be my opinion.

To chose for a presidential is tough most especially when there are a lot to choose from.
When I think of Nonoy, I think about the workers at Hacienda Luisita. Please read the articles about Noynoy's dark legacy at www.gmanews.tv. It is a thorough research about Nonoy's involvement in the Luisita Massacre and the questions he always evade to answer. I would be biased if I say that I based my views on him on this alone but our housemaid's husband is a worker from the Hacienda Luisita. They are dirt poor. With no home and no benefits at all. Noynoy had served Tarlac as a representative for so many years but had he done something for this town? He said he was a reluctant candidate but he was a congressman, a senator before he aspired to become a president. His mother was the reluctant candidate for presidency as she had not held any position before she became a president.
As for Manny Villar, I appreciate the fact that he had hailed from the rugs. I can consider him as an able candidate but no final decision yet.
Gibo is surely intelligent. His answers in presidential debates were excellent but as long as he is in the shadow of the administration,I don't think he'd have my vote. If in the middle of the presidential campaign, he'd say I have decided to run independently without any support from GMA and her allies, I will surely vote for him.
I had the chance to work with Sen. Gordon at DOT and he is an action man. When he has a vision, he will go for it. I don't know if you still remember his campaign WOW Philippines, his successors was not able to continue his project. Look at the Tourism situation in our country now, it's bleak.
Whoever wins the election, may God bless the Philippines. I would still continue to be a good citizen of this country and will rise up in every struggle we'll be facing.

me too, im kinda confused right now... Gibo is a very good leader, but on his back are evil and liars. Manny Villar is also good, i like his ambition. but i warn him, if he uses politics as an opportunity or a way to make more money to him, i will definitely go and assassinate him (just joking). to Noy, hmmmm...hmmmm... hmmmmm i have no comment... but i think he would be a peaceful leader. much better if Miriam Santiago will run for presidency hehe~ but i think she will not do it XD

Noynoy may have promised that he will not be a corrupt leader, fine but we have to realize the corruption is already too deep in our society. We need a leader who will not only show a good example but someone who has the political will to get rid of corruption from his level down ward to the grass root level. Does he have the vision to lead this country forward other than the promise that he will not steal?
Villar may have portrayed himself as the only one was once a poor man and rise up to become one of the richest man in the Philippines. But the C5 controversy clearly showed a side of him and that is someone who use his power to advance his own business interests before his country. This goes to show that villar is first and foremost a businessman who used his cunning for his own benefit. Well, as a reporter on ABS CBN reported on TV. A lot of people will benefit from the C5 extension project but it's clear the Villar will benefit more from it.
Gibo on the other hand shows us that he really is intelligent. It clearly shows on how he answers questions. But his affiliations pull him down. Time and again Gibo has shown his loyalty to GMA and we all know that people are agitated whenever the name GMA is mentioned. He may keep assuring us that he will be his own man and will not give in to other people's wishes. But what is our assurance? Just the thought that the president is running for congress is enough reason for people to suspect that they're cooking something fishy.
But it's really up to you to decide. Vote according to who you think is the best person to lead this country. I'm sure each candidate has something good to offer for our country.

Why 3 choices only? Why not add Erap to your choices. I think Erap will do it right this time. Let's give him another chance...

I think observations are good. It is a good way to know who's suppose to be in position and who rightful owner of the thrown is. Manny is good, I think. But I am not so sure either but he is still number 1 in the list and it is still subject to change.

Go for Noynoy.. you know why, just for me.. Villar is involve at C5 road extension issue right? i wont believe that he knows nothing about that. So how we can trust him that he wont be corrupt in the near future if we will vote for him. While Gibo, well I can't say nothing to him right now because I dont know him since I just heard his name when He become the administration runner but still I dont trust the administration so I dont trust Gibo too. So if I were you Go for Noynoy..
