I have learnt some basic asanas a few years ago and used to do it regularly, it sure helped me to keep my mind fresh and active and I could see the difference in me. But nowadays due to work schedule I'm a bit lazy to do and prefer walking to yoga. The main reason for me to stop it is not that it was ineffective but only thing it is boring to do it alone for me . If it is in a group then we will surely enjoy it.

My mum started doing yoga like 9 years ago and she was totally screwed up she had asthma and joint pains and she was overweight. At first it seemed kind of pointless but then like after 2 years and some minor changes in her diet she is doing great , she is finally in shape. So I know it really helps people cause I have seen it. It doesn't give fast results but it certainly helps. I do recommend it
