Just a comment on the MyLot new version

So that's how others can post that "U text smiley". I was looking how to do that on the keyboard since that is my text signature smiley, I thought of making that my myLot signature as well. But since I didnt find out soon enough I just used my current smiley signature.^_^ A myLot phone version would be a different concept. I mean I only know one myLot. A phone version is like a myLot spinoff and I usually dont watch those tv series spinoffs. Then again, it might be a great help in improving the interaction with those members who prefer to access myLot with their phones. I might try that sometime but I know that Ill go back to myLot online in my computer rather than through phone. You can always drop them a message containing your suggestion. Better yet add that to your response in GoAskAlice's discussions. Goodluck!

for a year now i guess, i used my mobile phone to go online and post on mylot and other sites that i have maintained, blog sites of mine, for example. i have no problems encountered during that time. i use my phone wherever and whenever i wish to, as long as there is a wifi signal or even 3g connection. and at that time, i was also inquiring if there is an available mylot mobile version. here is the link to my 13 month old discussion. www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1910138.aspx what is your mobile brand and model, if i may ask? mine is nokia e61. i have installed opera mini 4.2 and it gives me a full view of the pages/sites, like i as viewing from a computer, desktop. the built-in nokia browser cannot display mylot so you really have to install opera mini. i have tried other mobile browsers but it doesn't work well with mylot and other sites. i know you are looking for something that will open mylot within your phone, just like facebook and friendster, to name a couple, which has their own mobile version. but sad to say, mylot doesn't have a mobile version. by now, i do not depend in my phone. i already got a netbook and i broadband connection. actually, there is one more discussion i created which is an update to my first topic about mylot mobile version. www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1937207.aspx

I am having a difficulty using Mylot on my phone. SInce I never do it again. Haven't seen the new version on the phone now, I don't have plan since browsing the net on the phone takes a longer time. I might be checking the Mylot version using computer instead of a phone. Surely the admins will got to read your discussion and hopefully they consider doing such version. Happy Mylotting.

Well, with the new improvements applied just recently, I think a mobile version of myLot would be a good idea as well. Not all myLot users access the site using their desktops or laptops. I tried using my PSP a few times to access this site and I guess my issue would be my kind of connection than the layout that I have to navigate through when I do my myLot activities.. Never the less, a mobile version isn't a bad idea at all Ei~! got to see new emoticons

lol =D It's not gonna be easy for mylot to do any changes again!! Just the use or addition of more emoticons, already took mylot more than 3 years to do so.. lol =D I do like this version of mylot now, and it's already alot better as compared to the past.. I'm not someone whom uses phone to surf mylot, and thus i wont know what's the big difference between the two.. hehe

Yeah that would be great and one could access my lot on the go and not just at home when one is on travel especially those mobile with built in wifi. they are great companion and one could do a lot of multi-tasking. definitely a mylot to be accessible could be more enjoyable to participate i unlimited discussion anytime and anywhere.

I don't really like browsing the internet on my phone in general, because I find the pages all get squished down really small to fit the postage-stamp sized screen, and that navigation is really fiddly. I like nothing more than MyLotting on my trusty laptop, where I can type with a proper keyboard and do other stuff whilst browsing the site

Others would like it, but i really don,t think i will have the time for it. I am always in trouble for using my phone at work. This will only make that one burst a vessel. And that we do not want. TATA.

I have never done that before. The size of the phone must make it hard for one to navigate.

I also have a comment for the new version of myLot. Can we also earn money through playing their games? hehe its just a questions cuz I was curious about it. Also I think that It would be best also for mylot to create the mobile version so everyone can keep on logging in to their account if they aren't around in their computers, I also use mylot sometimes on mobile but it cost some money sometimes hehe ^ ^

Yup a mobile version of mylot would really be helpful and easier to use on the go. I can access my lot on my phone but it is a little hard right now to navigate properly in the opera mini i have installed. It would be better if mylot created a phone application in which we can easily post our views.
