As you have mentioned, I am one of the person who love cars, I do have a website on cars AutomobilePlanet.com .I presently have a small car Maruti 800. I would love to change my car but you know a new car doesnot come for free. If I can afford I shall try and buy as many cars as possible.

I bought my "used" 1969 Mercury Cougar in 1970...I'm still driving it. But I did put it up for sale recently because I don't drive it enough... My heart's going to be broken when she sells.
As for my other vehicles, I tend to hang on to them until they practically die...around 200,000 miles.
Did I mention the Cougar has over 300,000 miles and my boat is a 1973...?

Oh man I keep my cars until they absolutely have to be replaced. I set a personal goal for myself that I will not have a car payment of any kind until I am at least thirty years old and so far I have upheld that goal. I do all of my own maintainence and work on my cars and this actually seems to keep them on the road longer. Currently I am driving a 2000 focus that I paid $1000 for and this car has a ton of life left in it. My car before this was a 1995 Thunderbird that I paid $950 for and drove for 4 years and probably about 70,000 miles. Throughout all that time I bet I only put $1,000 into the car for parts and mainte!nance and I actually hit a deer and got $1850 back when they totalled the car out so I broke even for 4 years of use!

Well, since I have been living on a budget for a long time (damn further education), I wait until my car absolutely HAS to be replaced and that I cannot drive it anymore.

WE have had the same car for 10 years.
It is the most reliable car we have ever owned.
When we were first married,we weren't very rich and we commuted to work every day about 50 miles each way.
The cars lasted maybe 18 months but were always bought used to begin with.
Now my husband commutes about 40 miles each way but he rides a motorcycle there and back, it is cheaper on tax and petrol and easier to maneuver in the city.
So our car now has much shorter journeys.
The shortest length of time we have had a car was 1 day, we bought it to last us a month as out previous car had failed to pass the MOT test and so was not legal on the road.
This 1 day car was a jalopy and broke down on the way home on its second trip.
