it really depends on people.we have our own formulas to success that we follow.I have my own rules,too.one of these is to live simply and make money work for you,rather than you work for money.we can't really be successful when we have worries in life.

by worries I mean those who aren't afraid to take risks.these people who are worried wouldn't take risks because they are certain and are afraid to lose.when you want to be successful, you have to take risks,whether you win or lose.

hope thats really true.. but still all who takes risk doen'n seem to be successful i believe.. i think the only way or one of the ways to be successful is probably to take life as it comes and your own life....

yes... but, for us to be really successful, there will come a time that we are United with the Almighty God...
and some say that, for success, it takes 99% hard-work and 1% inspiration; or make it 99% holistic hardwork and 1% Faith... and it's still the same it takes 99% holistic work for a faith to work, that's inspiration...

Hi thunderbala, I won't say the list you provided is the formula for success. Yes, it is undeniable that some of these are desirable personality traits. However, having said that, all these traits combined do not necessarily make one successful. Conversely, not having all these traits does not necessarily make one a failure too. Different people have different perceptions and definitions for success. What works for one may not work for another.
