Co-parenting

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with co-parenting, that is multiple (as in more than just a mom, dad, and in the case of extended families, other relatives) people coming together to raise a child?

Here in the Philippines, that practice is very common because as brother and sisters helping each other to raise child of the other...

Hey aerous, I was more thinking along the lines of a group of people deliberately getting together to have and raise a child.

Well, you done a good thing, my friend. That's really good to help those child raise with a parents. Because there really a child having no parents at all they need that extending kindness you and your group... I wish and pray the success of your group and the aim you extend to the needy child.
