What is the best cell phone service out there?

I had SPRINT for about 5 years... I absolutely loved it, and I never had any problems or complaints... But now I have Verizon... I only got it b/c my contract w/Sprint was up and my love has Verizon... So I decided to give it a try... To be honest with you I am not satisfied... The service area sucks and it almost seems as though every time I really need to use my phone I am not able to!? So, please... Tell me what cell phone service you all recommend... I want to get rid of Verizon in time, but would like to know from everyone else which provider they recommend and why... CINGULAR/AT&T, SPRINT/NEXTEL, VERIZON, T-MOBLE, ECT....

Cingular was the first service that i tried... needless to say they only lasted 3mos w/me... they were charging me for things that i did not ok?! so then they send me a bill for 1700.00.... ok, i know i don;t talk that much!! well it was a battle for 1yr until they finally realized that someone elses (actually 3 other'a) account information was put onto my bill... so, if cingular works for you then right on... but it didn't work out for me
