The 2010 Olympics: Are you for it or against it?

So I've been quite excited about having the Olympics come to Canada. I was watching some of the opening ceremonies tonight and I was thinking about what the protesters were talking about during the last two weeks. With Vancouver having such a problem with homelessness and it seems the people who are putting on the olympics don't seem to be helping them to find housing. I was wondering what other people think of the olympics in Canada? Is there going to downhill skiing tomorrow? because last I heard they were expecting rain all weekend. I wonder if Canada is actually going to win gold on everything?
Anyway tell me what you think.

I watched the Olympics from Vancouver tonight too, and I was quite impressed at the Great Show those Canadians put on. The girl who sang the Canadian Anthem brought tears to my eyes, and I've never been that impressed before. Yes I think its a Great expense, but well worth the money, because it brings the world's young people together, and makes the world a much smaller place in which to live and work together.

Thanks for the great comment. I like the girl too, I've never heard her before but she seems very good. I think you're right about bringing people together too. It does make the problems we face that much more smaller.
