There are a lot of issues about family planning in all countries of the world these days. In my family, there are four of us and so is my husband's. These days, couples would only want to have one or two. In our case we wanted to have three. We were just thingking that if there are only two kids in our home, its less fun. Though we also have to consider our finances in taking care of our kids, we still want to have 3 because we like the idea about having fun with them. How about you? How many kids do you want to have and why?

i have only two kinds, and that's all we want. we, because it's a decision i and my wife made. but in our family, we are eight, and i've learned a lot of lessons there that prompted me to have a smaller family on my own... the same is true with my wife, they are nine....

I was always wanting 3 children but ended up having one.... I made the decision because of my abusive husband.... I knew one day if he was like that to me he would be to our children..... Don't take this wrong.... but children is like dogs (metaphor) Why is it they always want to cling to the one that treats them the worse? My son is 17 and lives with his dad now but he was hit alot but my son was making life unbearable until I gave in..... He does anything his dad asks him to do.... He has even lied to social services and judges on me and my current husband due to his father..... I know alot of what is going on is because he is scared and I have heard his dad threaten him before..... I hope when he turns 18 the morals and values I have given him leads him in the right direction..... I pray everyday for his safety....

Hi P3ks626,
Same with you we wnat to have three kids but we are both scared that the third baby will also have autism. i have two sons with autism--the eldest is 13 years old and the youngest is 9 years old. special education and interventions are quite expensive. inasmuch as we want to have another one...we are contemplating on with HIS blessings...thy will be done!

Sorry to here about your kids having autism. I was a school teacher a year ago and we had kids in our school who also had autism and they have abilities that are way better than other kids. I dont know if they have the same situation with your kids but one thing I know is for sure, they are special in their own ways.

I wouldn't mind having 5-6 kids as long as I can afford it financially. I come from a big family, having 7 brothers sisters. Although it was tough financially growing up with such a huge family, I wouldn't trade it for the world. When we are all together, we have so much fun. I've learn something different from each and everyone one of them and it helps me have a different perspective on a lot of things. If I didn't have all of their different opinions and thoughts growing up, maybe I wouldn't be as open-minded as I am and I would want my kids to have that to.

I think all of the couples must have only one child because the population is increasing very fast.we should always think of it before it is toooooooo late

Hi,
A lot depends on the financial situation of the family and the security of future...
Also the fact of heredity, as in if either one of the parent is having any chronic or physiological disorder like diabetes or T.B or anything that can hamper the kids life or parents life at the later stage of their lives.
I think it takes nothing to have kids (considering adoption and surrogacy these days), but takes a lot for their perfect upbringing.
I think i can raise 2 kids (irrespective of gender) in the "best" manner, i think we can enough fun with them and make sure they stay happy to (not just when they are kids)
I believe in giving the best and living the best.
Cheers

My husband and I have already talked about it that he wanted at least 3 kids but as for me I only want 2 kids a daughter and a son. I am not so sure of his preferences but I said I think if we're able to have at least son and daughter I think that's enough. My only point is we could be happy even if we only have two kids in our house. Considering the present generation and financially status I would say at least with just two kids we'll be sure that we are able to compensate of giving them the good education and provide their needs.

We want to have between three and five kids. Anything less than three seems like too few, and anything more than five seems like it'd be a little chaotic. I guess when we get to three we'll see how we are doing physically and financially before going on to have more. I come from a family with five kids and my husband is the oldest of thirteen. If we are unable to have kids, we'd probably end up doing foster care or adopting three kids.

I can't predict how much but I would like at least 2 - 3 children. There should be girl and a boy. My family doesn't have a daughter. We are just 2 brothers and we don't know what is it like to have a sister. Maybe when I'm in my parenting years I'd now realize what is it to have one. I hope I don't spoil them. Haha

i am very fond of kids . and i wish to have 2 kids one daughter and a son . in our country already already the population is so high and i dont wish to have more than 2 children . i just wabt 2 kids . i think thats the normal thing to have . if we have more than to two i think that it will be a bit tough on the financial side unless you have good wealth . for a normal man i would think having 2 child is fine

My ideal number of kids I want to have someday is two. Hopefully, one boy and one girl :) I don't like to have "odd numbers" like 3 kids, because of the "middle child syndrome". Two kids are ideal in a family nowadays, so that we could really be hands-on parents to them and spend more time and be able to see their progress as they grow older.

We currently have 4 kids and are planning on having a couple more in the future. Something that we both want and as long as our finances stay to were we can afford more children then we will have more.

I would like to have twins.I would like to have a girl and a boy.if my husband would like another child,I can only add 1 more.around 3 is ok with me.if he wants 6 or 10,I would suggest we just opt for adoption.
