I am not male but have raised several males who are good cooks. You have the first thing necessary to start. You want to. There are many very easy cookbooks on the market and if you look in the used section of your store I'm sure you will find some. Also there are many food shows on the TV that will help you. Pasta is one of the easy dishes to learn, if you eat rice instead that can be a little tricky, get a rice cooker it makes it much easier. Once you have that basic dish made you can add meat and/or vegatables, with a sauce and have a meal. Many sauces come in a can or package where you just add water. Take your time and start easy, don't expect to much from yourself and know you will make mistakes, we all do.

Hi, boomima. I am a female and I first learned how to cook when I was about 14 years old. I have been cooking ever since then. I may have also started cooking at 12 too. But it was just every once in a while. It is not very hard to cook, it just takes time...
