Marriage....

Should people get married just because there is a baby/child involved? Do you think that people should be pushed into a marriage or is it better that they wait?

i dont think you should just get married because you're pregnant or have a child now..you get married cause you love someone...not to live as strangers raising a child..so i say wait ..find the person you're supposed to be with and then get married save yourself a lot of anger and a divorce

You're soo right... I completely agree with what you have to say... I'm pregnant myself and my love and I said we could wait... We love eachother very very much... but the test is when this little girl comes into this world... Now my love is off in Iraq right now, and he will come home when she is about 5-6 mos old... But I have no doubt in my mind that we love one another faithfully and whole heartedly... But we can surely wait... Thank you for your feedback

NO! WAIT! Oh ,sorry for yelling, but I married for the child, & I am now divorced! Marry for yourselves after a long engagement! That is the only way to tell. Poeple chage after marraige & it is usually not for the best! He started cheating on me with his secretary when I was still pregnant! & I was not turning him down! I was as horney as I could be, & had to go without, yet he was double dipping!

Oh, ok... Well, I'm sorry to hear about your luck... I was married once before, but not for or b/c of a child or pregnancy... I was young and dumb! But needless to say, he changed as well... I don't regret making the decision to leave him at all... It was actually the best thing I could have ever done for myself... I'm much happier now... How about you? Is life better for you now that he is out of your life?? I really do hope so, you sound like you were better off without him to begin with...
