I think my dog ate a nipple

Ash is an outdoor mutt. He's a year old and eats garbage.We saved him from the shelter. Well I was getting some stuff out of my car and dropped my sons bottle without noticing. A few minutes later I see the dog with the bottle,so outside I go to retrieve it. Of course he runs from me like crazy and finally drops the bottle after much coaxing to come be petted. I retrieve the bottle and find the nipple is missing. I look all around the yard and its no where to be found. I guess he ate it. The vet says its ok and it should pass.If it does I wont know it.

I can see my dog doing the same thing.She's all into things she shouldn't be.

yeah i had puppy who was like swallows garbage too. as we were on our way to the vet she vomited and voila pantyliner popped out from its mouth still rolled. its really gross that i don't know what else she could have swallowed.

Hi, kymomof3. I am so glad that your dog is doing okay. Hopefully that the nipple that he chewed up is plastic. And hopefully, it has been chewed to shreds. If the vet says that everything is okay, then don't worry. I am sure that if something was wrong, the vet would be honest with you. I am glad that your dog did not eat anything that was much harder to swallow.
