Getting from 34-40+ farming

Can anyone tell me how to get to 40 farming from lvl 34 in runescape. I need this in order to get the Barrelchest Anchor. Ive tried growing trees, but this is annoying and takes a lot of time to grow. Anyone know a way to get at least 1-3k+ farm xp an hour

The best way to train farming is having farmers watch after your crops, in exchange for other crops. That way you can plant the seeds, pay the farmer, and when you come back later your crops will be fully grown. You can also plant fruit trees, as they are good exp, and will yield a surprisingly fast amount of produce.
