girls: how long does it take for you to get ready??

well, onlyprincess, i am not a girl, so i am not supposed to answer. however, i could give some input as a waiting person for girls getting ready... i have two daughters and they have different idiosyncracies when it comes to preparing to go out, even my wife, she is different too. one would take a few minutes, aside from the bath. another would take about an hour, while the third is in-between. can you imagine what i have to bear just waiting for them. and if start the engine early, how much gas is consumed before we hit the road...

It takes me 1 hour and 30 minutes to prepare my self. 30 -45 minutes for shower and the rest is for combing my hair. That's the reason I have to wake up very early. Sometimes my husband get's upset because he can't understand why it takes me 30 - 45 minutes to take a shower. It has always been like that ever since I was still a kid. Haha! My Mom would always scold me for that but it has never changed.

i usually prepare an hour before i leave home. after bathing, i need to do lots of stuff like putting lotion, face powder, styling my hair, etc. it usually takes me an hour too to do all that i need to do, including bathing and picking up clothes to wear.

hi, i get ready as fast as possible .,if there is a lot of time to go on the work then it will take me more than half an hour.if not i get ready by 15 minutes.

I shower in the evening, not morning, because it's too time consuming and it's not good to go out afterwards when it's 0 degrees outside. I usually get up one hour before I have to go somewhere. I wake up, sometimes wash and blow dry my hair which takes 20 minutes, eat and then I wash my face and do my make up and put my contact lenses in. After all that I choose what I'm going to wear that day and dress myself. After approximately an hour I'm done and ready to go. If the going out isn't in the morning, then I usually need less time, only about 10 minutes because all I do is wash my face, maybe put some make up on and dress myself.

Hello! For me, the time is never enough! Even if I wake up two hours before I have to leave, I'm never ready. I need about an hour. First I have a shower, about 20 minutes, the I have to prepare my hair and dress. I spend a lot of time choosing what to dress for the day! And searching trousers or shoes that I don't remember where I put the day before! About 10 minutes are dedicated to the make up! At the end I am quite ready to begin the new day!

i am not a girl,so i dont know clearly how long u take is appropriate,but i have a female friend,she is very quick in dressing and make up.so i concluded that the length of time u costs on it depends on your make-up proficiency and time allocation.

It really depends but usually if I know I am running late then I would hurry up but if not I make sure I give ample time to take a bath and dry my hair before leaving the house. So usually taking a bath plus everything else is within an hour or even less depending where I am going also.

Hi OP, I think this is not only limited to girls--this is also for the boys. both has its own pace in preparing oneself before leaving the house. i need an hour to be ready. after shower, i do make hair and simple make up then dress up. my husband is already used with me. so,if we have a date with the kids or even the two of us he will ask me to go to shower first so i will have more time for myself infront of the mirror!

It takes me 30 minutes when I'm in a hurry. If I got a lot of time I prepare for an hour. Yeah., I also take too long in the shower.. And then, I get a lot of of my time from choosing clothes to wear. I also take another 10 minutes just to do my eyeborw, I have a very light eyebrow so I need to fill them in.LOL. Happy my lotting.

Hi there onlyprincess. It really depends on the time I have left to prepare. If I'm not in a hurry, it usually takes me 30 minutes to a hour or more in taking a bath. But if I'm in a hurry, it would be 10 to 15 minutes. Picking or choosing a dress would take me about 5 to 10 minutes. Wearing them is just fast. Fixing myself would just take about 10 minutes. I'm not really into putting a lot on my face and styling a lot on my hair. So it just takes 5 minutes. So, Not in a hurry more than an hour; In a hurry an hour or less than an hour will do.

i only takes 15 to 20mins or less. dont do too much hairstyling and other stuff so it is easy to get prepared.

i am a guy and it will just take 10-15 min for me to get ready .but i think t=most girls take a lot of time to get ready . my sister will take almost 40 - 50 min to get ready . she will start her make up for before 40 min of the start time . then only she will be ready at the time we have to start

I think I take about an hour, too. I can get ready faster if I need to, but most mornings I'm so tired (I get up pretty early) that I spend more time in the shower just to wake up. If I'm going somewhere special, I would probably want to take more time doing my hair and makeup and maybe putting on dressier clothes.

Well, it depends on the amount of time I have. Before school it takes me about half hour to shower, blow dry my hair, get dressed, straighten my hair and put on makeup. But if I have an unlimited amount of time to get ready I'll relax during my shower and take about 20 minutes then everything else which takes about 30 minutes.=]
