So i have recently posted about my son and his irratic sleeping petterns and how is always up the entire night. Well tonight i tried something new. Usually when he is in the bath he gets very excited, and is kicking and splashing and laughing. Well tonight i kept the bathroom light off, and turned on the hall light, and kept it very quiet and calm, and surprisingly he only let out a few splashes, and other than that was completely calm. I also used the bedtime bath. Afterwards as i brought him downstairs i turned off all the lights along the way so thet there were no bright lights in his face. Put some bedtime lotion on him, dressed him, put on some quiet music, and walked with him. Well to my surprise after about 10min he was asleep. It has honestly been a month since he has been in bed before 8am, so i am comletely thrilled. I just thought i would share incase there are other mothers out there who are having sleeping problems with their infants. I know i searched for a lot of different things to try, and so far this is the only thing that has worked. Now i just have to wait and see how long he will sleep for, and if he will sleep through the night. Anyways. Take care

Yes! You have found success with your child and his sleeping habit. This was an interesting Post for me as I helped to raise 4 boys, and they all turned out well. Now I'm a Grandpa and loving every moment of it. Life goes by so quickly, its important that you savor every moment, and take lots of pictures so you can relive your youthful moments in later life!

thanks. he didnt sleep through the night, but it is a start to getting him back on track and sleeping through the night. And i agree about taking lots of pictures and living in the moment. My camera is always by my side, and when i get caught up in a bad day, my son always reminds me how beautiful life is.
