They actually looked like my wings tonight, as they beat Ottawa 4 to 1. Our power play wasn't bad and our PK was pretty good too. We lost Homer half way through but Franzen was 98% Franzen, he is probably going to take Homers spot on the olympic team.
It was a really good way to start the break. I'm going to sleep happier tonight than I have in awhile.

Great win! Way to stop the second hottest team in the east. Vintage wings! Hopefully Homer is ok. It'll be a big blow for team Sweden.
They could certainly use the break to get everybody back. The wings will be a great test for my canucks on the 2nd game of a back to back just after the Olympics.

This Olympic break will be a good thing for every NHL team to be able to get the injured players more healthy and the ones playing with injuries to better nurse them.

Thanks bounce..don't be surprised if the Mule doesn't replace Homer. They really want Johan skating for the next 2 weeks, Sweden should be just as happy with him I would think. I peeked at my schedule and saw that you and I are on opposite sides on the 3rd.

I know it was a very good game. They went to Olympic break in style tonight. We still have a very good change on still making the playoffs this season and if we do the top teams need to be on the look out for major upsets against the 8th seed.

I agree, we are right on the door step for 8th seed and I can tell you after the Olympic break I think we will see a new Red Wings and they will be proving a point that we have a point to prove and never count us out.

Not that the caps need any help at the moment..still hoping this is the beginning of a fairy tale kind of year for my wings, and that after the break everybody collectively knows that the gravy train the wings have been giving them is over.
