for me, when I'm not busy, I spend about 4-6 hours max in front of the computer everyday. We have a dsl connection, so I make it a point to use it wisely, hahaha. I check my mails, play some games in facebook and of course, here in Mylot. I also check out my twitter, spend some time writing reviews from another paying site and check out new releases of dvdrips. I'm a self-confessed internet junkie! There's so much to learn :) how about you, how much time do you spend in front of the computer daily?

Honestly, i already spent 11 hours just by sitting here infront of the computer. Just by checking the mail, making and answering discussions, watching movies on youtube. that's what i do all the time whenever im home. so boring routine.

11 hours? almost half a day. that's awfully a lot of time. I agree there's so much to do and explore, but there are a lot of things we are missing outside. Thanks for sharing!

I'm on dial-up because it is cheaper, but I do spend too much time, really. I didn't go to sleep last night, and I didn't go to the movies today, so once again I pulled a thirty-six hour shift.
No, it's not my typical day. I usually only do 12 to 16
No, just kidding. Most of the times 6 hours sound right, but once or twice every week or two I just find too many exciting things to learn.

We spend a lot of time in front of our computers but we have a forum and a website as well as work from our computers. Wish we spent a lot less time.

yeah, people nowadays spent more time in computers rather than having a life outside. Time really flies when having fun, so I guess that's why a lot of us don't realize how much time we spend daily.

Now a days I spent nearly 6-7 hours in front of computer. When I sit on computer, I don't realiese how the time has passed. I spent maximum time here in mylot. Mylot is really interesting site. I search for some stuff, read news, hear songs. And then finally I search for study material.

I am probably around the same as you. 4 to 6 hours a day. I usually come online first thing in the morning between 5am and 6am and stop to get my kids ready for school at 7am. I then do a few more hours during the day as I run an online business from home and am always on and off the computer all day.
I then spend an hour or so at night on the computer, but sometimes this stretches into a 4 hour session at night. Some Saturday mornings I spend quite a few hours online too, researching various things or catching up on my website activity.
I have a fast broadband connection, but this does not get me off the computer any quicker...LOL

There are some days that I will spend as much as 12 hours during the day in front of the computer and there are other days that I will be lucky to spend two hours in front of the computer. All of this said, I would say that in an average day I will spend between seven and eight hours in front of the computer. Now, the time that I spend on the computer is not all exclusively online. A great deal of my computer time is spent with my digital scrapbooking, but I do spend a fair portion of time on mylot and also playing the online game that I really enjoy.

Well, my friend. As I've to rely on PC to earn my livelihood and browse the internet for checking mails, visiting paying sites like myLot et. al. I spend 7-8 hours a day before my computer. Of course, I spend some time roaming around to keep my body fit in the afternoon. Have a nice day.

The answer to this question really depends on the day. There are some days I spend a lot of time on the computer and other days I spend very little time. I guess it depends on how much other stuff i have to do in the day. I use the computer for entertainment, but also for money making, so that has dependence on how much I am on the computer.

I am working in Software industry and work on computer for minimum 8 hrs a day. This involves customer deliverable jobs which has to be done in a time line so sometimes have to spend 12 or more hrs a day in office only. After that I use 2-3 hrs everyday at home for personnel use which is not possible at workplace for many reasons.
All together it is more than 12 hrs a day in weekdays on computer for me. Its around 3-4 hrs on weekends because I get bored working on computer for so long.
This is not recommended to work for so long.
