Unemployment/no health insurance

I lost my job in July 2009 due to a Bi-polar Boss who for two years made my life a hell, But the the sad thing is I lost my health insurance, I have health issues that need attending but with cobra costing so much I have been uninsured since July. What would you do in this situation? What really gripes me is that the government can argue health reform all they want but they have insurance, I don't and can't afford it either.

It is sad we have to go through this kind of stuff. The political people have no idea what the poor person has to go through just to try and make ends meet. I can barely afford health insurance for me and my daughter but at least she is also on medicad. So that really helps when she has to go to the doctor. You know the political people need to live on what a majority of americans have to live on for a few months then maybe they might remember what they were elected for.
