This is a fantastic show, season four has just drawn to a close, and I can't wait for the next season to start!
Although the show is based around High-School football, it covers some any other issues and situations that even people with little interest in sport can enjoy it.
Any other Mylotter's fans of this great show?

is that the same tv show as the movie that came out a few years back? if so, then i know an extra that played in the movie. i still have not seen the movie or the tv show. what channel does it come on. if it is a regular channel, i don't watch anything that is not on cable, when i do watch tv. that's not much. you did spark my interest in this show though.

The show is "loosely" based on the book/movie. It does not have the same characters or continute the same story in any way though.

I'm waiting for a marathon on DirecTV. I wanted to watch the show this season, but kept forgetting what time it aired. The commercials looked really compelling for sure. I heard it has enough football related content to entice jaded sports fans who cringe at eh thought of seeing modern day sports movies that cater more to the teen drama crowd than anything else.

I am a sports fan, but being European I do not really follow American Football. This show keeps me interested though, and in fact I am more interested in American Football having watched Friday Night Lights than I was before.

Hi there!I'm a fan!Just finished season 4 marathon and its such a shame its just 13 episodes long! What's worst than that is that next season will be their last. Good shows are being cancelled one by one, lost, prison break, heroes, smallville,... got a feeling One Tree Hill is on the brink as well...I will miss Dillon :-)
